Please note the following points:

We will enter "seed times" for all of the new events, unless it is an A meet, or meet that requires a proof of time. If you want to sign up for a new event, please write-in and circle the event for the designated meet next to your name.  Once you get an official time it will forever be in our data base.

We encourage 8 and unders to sign up for only the mini meets, except Christmas meet.

The Christmas meet is a Championship meet that we encourage ALL of swimmers to sign-up for when they qualify.

We encourage our swimmers to ask the coaching staff what events they should be swimming.

We strongly encourage that our swimmers do new events throughout the season.

The Dual meet has not been finalized, but listed above is the tentative date.  Dual meet time will NOT count as qualifying times for the Christmas Meet or other meets requiring a proof of time.

Please come to meets excited to swim and do our best.  We want meets to be a positive team environment for our swimmers to ensure a learning experience.  The following will help us to do so:

  1. Show up for warm-ups on time.  Warming is part of our daily practice routine, and it physically and mentally prepares you for your swims.
  2. Swimmers will always see a coach after you swim an event.
  3. We will base our happiness in our swims on the fact that we DID OUR BEST.  Every swim is different and we can always learn something to do better the next time.  Adding and dropping time and what place you get are only part of the equation.  Champions focus on the process more than result as a way to achieve goals and succeed.
  4. Be proud to be a part of our team and treat each other and your competition with respect.
  5. Have fun!  It is and always will be what you make of it.

Thanks for your time and please contact the coaching staff with any of your questions at fastwahoos@gmail.com.

Coach Lucas
