Mission - "Excellence At Every Level"

The Franklin Area Swim Team, FAST, is based out of the Franklin Regional Middle School pool, located in Murrysville, Pennsylvania.  Our head coach is Lucas Marsak.

 

FAST provides training and development for team

swimmers in the four competitive strokes: butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle. There is additional focus on dryland training, including gumband exercises for strength and flexibility, mini-triathalons.

The FAST coaching staff believes there is a direct correlation between a swimmer's dedication and success in the sport. The Coaching staff tries to instill this maxim with each swimmer: hard work and attendance lead to swimming success.

The Swim Team Board and coaching staff feel that swimming on a USS team should be an enjoyable experience. Swimmers make new friends, bolster their confidence, develop a spirit of camaraderie with teammates, and are introduced to values such as organization and self-discipline.
